Assignments/Quizzes (35% of grade) - Students will have an assignment daily, some will be finished in class and others will become homework. Short quizzes will be given almost daily to keep students engaged in the progress of their learning.
Unit Tests (50% of grade) - If a student is not satisfied with the grade earned on a test he/she can retake the parts of the exam that was performed poorly on. The student is responsible for scheduling the retake within 2 weeks of the original exam, or before the end of the marking period, whichever comes sooner.
Participation (15% of grade) - Start with a 100! Students may keep the 100 if they follow the rules set out by the school and class (Be responsible, respectful, and safe). If a student disregards these simple rules, is excessively absent from class, and/or does not participate in the learning process during class, points will be deducted.
